Lady Emma Hamilton
c.1873-76 Undated autograph letter signed to a "Madame Walcot" regarding the now unlikely visit of "Mr. and Mrs. Graffer(?)", Lady Hamilton would have given the news sooner "but have got such a lot of head ache. I have had it not five or six days."; Lady Hamilton proceeds to offer for Walcot "to go any day aboard the Agamemnon, I shall be very happy to attend you as believe me it will be a great pleasure to me to have an opportunity to pass an hour in your company."
Signed in full "Emma Hamilton".

Notes: Nelson was captain of the Agamemnon between 1793-96 and so the letter is most likely dated between these years. There is a record in 1793 of an Elizabeth Walcot sending Lady Hamilton China in a Genoese vessel for her mother (Ref. Royal Museums Greenwich [CRK/22/149].
