A159, dated 27 May 1840, from London to Brighton, crisp, central and upright red Maltese Cross cancellation, and red "T.P/Commercial R.E" alongside, dated markings on reverse; small part of flap missing. Also One Penny Letter Sheets, A66, dated 22 May 1844 to Stratford on Avon and with central London District "13" barred oval cancellation; both with slight imperfections but an attractive and scarce pair
