Plate 120, tied by pen cross and "perth" mail bag seal handstamp in red to 1861 (3 Oct.) entire letter to Paisley, the face struck with Perth d.s. and handstruck "2", the reverse with Paisley receiving d.s.; interesting printed contents include "Observations for the guidance of persons writing to prisoners". Filing folds well clear of the adhesive, fine and rare.
