1864 (12 Dec.) envelope ex the Dawson correspondence from English Harbour to Bridgewater, Nova Scotia bearing 1d. rosy mauve vertical strip of three and a single, all cancelled by "A18" obliterator, showing red crayon "4" and "ctms/5" h.s. and, on reverse, "english harbour/antigua", St. Thomas (15.12), Halifax (31.12) and arrival (2.1.65) datestamps; the envelope with flap missing and part of lower left corner torn away through opening.
