1908-80, a small collection of Official covers (14) including 1908 (23 Jan.) "Chief Registrar, Leeward Islands" envelope to London; 1923 (12 Aug.) "Post Office, Antigua" envelope to America; 1929 (17 Sept.) envelope to America with G.P.O. "post office/antigua" oval cachet; 1938 (28 March) envelope registered to Birmingham bearing 6d. tied by St. John's d.s. with "general post office/antigua" oval cachet; 1942 (21 Sept.) envelope registered to Canada bearing Leeward Islands 2d. and 1/- (2) with "general post office/antigua" and "duty free" cachets with customs label attached at right tied by London customs datestamp, and red label attached at foot reading "to be transferred to customs..."; 1943 (28 may) envelope registered within St. Johns marked "Imperial Censorship. Antigua 28/8/43"; 1957 (25 Nov.) envelope to British Honduras bearing 1c. and 12c. with "agricultural department/antigua" oval cachet; 1962 (5 Dec.) envelope with straight line "on postal service" handstamp; also 1974 (24 April) "on postal service / money order advice / the postmaster" envelope to St. Lucia. An interesting lot.
