A208, dated 4 Nov. 1842, from Nottingham to the Isle of Ely, Cambridgeshire, cancelled by black Maltese Cross, the address being a preprinted label affixed to panel; offered together with 1842 entire letter bearing 1841 1d. red addressed in the same way from the same correspondence. Some faults though most unusual. R.P.S. Certificate (1993) for Mulready.
