South Africa 1877-79, 1 clasp, 1877-8-9 (Lieut: J. P. Davies, 5th. Bn. N. N. Infantry), very fine

J. P. Davies served with the 2nd Battalion (later 5th Battalion) and would have shared in the actions at Nyezane and Gingindlovu. He latterly shared in the Cape of Good Hope (Medal & 2 clasps).
