(1d.) grey vertical strip of three with good to large margins on three sides, cut into at right, plus 1859 1/- indigo with clear to good margins, tied by "1" obliterator on 1860 (23 Mar.) envelope to Corsica, showing red crayon "1/2", Crowned circle "paid/at/trinidad", circular-framed "pd" overstruck by London Paid c.d.s. (12.4), Calais entry d.s. and, on reverse, despatch, Paris and arrival datestamps; a few light stains and wear at edges, nevertheless a rare and attractive franking. B.P.A. Certificate (2001).
