1848-1914 covers including 1848 (28 Dec.) entire letter from Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela to Bordeaux, showing framed "colonies/&c. art.13" in red partly overstruck by Boulogne entry d.s. and, on reverse, Trinidad (6.1) and London transit datestamps; 1884 (29 May) envelope (faults) from Ciudad Bolivar to New York via Trinidad, bearing Trinidad 4d. pair and showing, on reverse, "Forwarded by/c. schock & co./Port of Spain/"trinidad" fac in violet; 1902 (20 Dec.) envelope (fox spotted) from Venezuela to Alsace Lorraine, showing octagonal "colon a bordeaux/l.d. no 3" d.s. with port of Spain transit c.d.s. (22.12) on reverse; 1910 (31 Oct.) and 1914 (3 Apr.) envelopes originating in Ciudad Bolivar to Italy and Germany respectively, both bearing 2½d. cancelled at Port of Spain; also loose Trinidad stamps (4) cancelled by part "D22" obliterator, and Venezuela pieces (4) cancelled by Port of Spain datestamps
