1856 (12 Jan.) opened-out small part front and part back from Calcutta to Trinidad, bearing India 1854 1a.and 2a. tied by "B/1" obliterator, showing almost complete strike of very rare "trinidad/ship letter" h.s. and, on reverse, despatch and arrival double-arc d.s. for 12 May along with manuscript endorsement "Received at Colonial Office this 12th day of May, Mich Brodie for the Post Master"; some light staining around adhesives. One of only three examples recorded of this handstamp. Photo
