1897 (15 May) registered envelope to Wien, Austria, showing bilingual "Paid" framed handstamp in brown, matching "Peking" origin dollar dater and unframed "R" handstamp in brown adjacent, on reverse brown "Customs/Shanghai" (20.5) transit double-ring d.s., and bearing Hong Kong Q.V. 10c. (4) applied over the "Paid" and dollar dater, cancelled Shanghai (21.5) c.d.s., and "R" in circle handstamp adjacent with "Ligne N/Paq Fr. No.2" (30.5) octagonal d.s., very fine.


1897年北京寄奧地利掛號封1件，寄信人以繳納現金方式在大清郵政局投寄，未貼中國郵票，銷北京郵政局5月15日英漢大圓戳，另蓋R戳，經上海，香港中轉，有上海20日海關日戳，在上海另加貼香港女王像10仙4枚，銷21日上海英國客郵局戳，及客郵局R戳，有香港29日戳及法國輪船郵局30日中轉戳，郵戳清晰，保存完好
