China, Qing Dynasty, Szechuan Province, [PCGS MS65] silver dollar, ND (1901-1908), 'Guang Xu Yuan Bao', narrow face dragon on obverse, Chinese character 'Ku' at legends on reverse not connected variety, (LM-345, Y-238), Cert. #50567019, not only it's a SCARCE variety, it is also the SOLE example classified as Mint State (MS) by PCGS, with the second highest grade being a distant AU53. Even when taking into account the other varieties of the Szechuan Narrow Faced Dragon, MS65 is still the highest grade. Though the grade is self explanatory, the high points of the devices are in crisp condition, and the eye appeal is only further enhanced by the continuous cartwheel lustre.
