French Post Office: 1896 (5 Nov.) envelope to London bearing third issue 1c. tied by a light strike of the Kewkiang Local Post dated oval in mauve with France "Chine" 25c. tied by "shang-hai/chine" (9.11) c.d.s. with a second strike alongside and indistinct red transit c.d.s., the reverse with further despatch oval, Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. (7.11) and London arrival (21.12). There is some light wrinkling and three oil patches from an old adhesive tape repair. Photo
