These stamps are from the first overprint setting and all the stamps on this sheet exhibit this variety. This error was soon spotted and quickly withdrawn by the post office and destroyed; a corrected version, without the variety, was then produced


1895年蕪糊第二次加蓋欠資四十方連十五分票, 玫紅色, 下四行"Postage" 漏 "a" 字錯體, 含I型及II型, 帶原背膠. 齒孔位有修繕及有些折痕. 罕見品.
