Koban (2) tied by the 1888 cork cancellation of the Shanghai Post Office with I.J.P.A. Shanghai c.d.s. (8.11) alongside with Yokohama transit (17.11), the reverse bearing a smudged strike of the large garter "local post agency nanking" in turquoise, Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. (7.11) in blue and San Francisco transit (2.12); some minor soiling, a good and early, double rate cover. Photo


1888年11月5日南京Philander Smith Memorial Hospital 寄美國愛荷華州 (帶橢圓型日期章於上方位), 貼日本五錢小判两枚, 銷1888年上海木製郵戳,及11月8日上海日本I.J.P.O.客郵日戳, 旁有11月17日橫濱中轉戳, 封背蓋有較模糊松綠色南京工部書信館戳, 及藍色11月7日上海工部日戳. 另有12月2日三藩市中轉戳, 只有輕微污染, 少見的早期雙倍郵資封.
