1890 (30 Apr.) envelope to Maine, U.S.A. bearing Japan 5s. Koban cancelled by "shanghai/i.j.p.a." c.d.s. (10.5) with Yokohama transit (15.5) alongside, the reverse bearing a fine strike of "local post agency nanking" large garter in a bluish green colour with Shanghai Local Post (8.5), San Francisco and Brunswick arrival (11.6); the envelope has been repaired at sides. With the original letter from Mary Lattimore to her cousin. A very good example of the Agency handstamp, scarce in this colour. Photo


1890年4月30日寄美國緬因州信封, 貼日本五錢小判, 銷5月10日上海日本I.J.P.A.客郵日戳; 旁有5月15日橫濱中轉戳; 封背蓋有良好之南京工部書信館戳, 及5月8日藍綠色上海工部日戳, 三藩市中戳及6月11日Burunswick 到達戳. 此封曾經修補, 帶有原信函. 少見藍綠色的上海工部日戳, 品相中上.
