1893 (2 Sept.) Shanghai 1c. postal stationery cover to Chinkiang cancelled by circle of bars struck in red and, on the reverse, company oval handstamp, Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. in red and a fair strike of "customs/chinkiang" c.d.s. (4.9) in black; two vertical folding creases. An interesting cover which should have been delivered by the local post service, not the Customs Post. Photo


1893年9月2日上海銀壹分市徽圖郵資封寄鎮江, 銷紅色圓形橫條戳, 片背有㰐圓形公司章, 紅色上海工部日戳及9月4日黑色鎮江海關戳; 封有两度摺痕, 有趣味性的信封, 本應由工部書信館派遞而不該經由海關系統處理.
