1895 (18 Sept.) Gunzburg envelope to the Russian Consulate, Kobe bearing 1c. red tied by the triple-circle c.d.s. in black with German Eagle 20pf. tied by German P.O. c.d.s. type 2 (20.9); redirected to Tokyo and again to a second hotel with a fine array of transit handstamps including Kobe (30.9), Yokohama (2.10) and Tokyo (2.10) plus large oval "forwarded by grand hotel yokohama"; some minor soiling and wrinkling does not detract from this intriguing cover. 1895年9月18日寄日本神戶俄國領事封, 貼紅色一分票, 銷三圈黑色日戳, 旁貼德國鷹圖20芬尼票, 銷9月20日德國"II"型日戳, 此封曾轉遞到東京, 再送至第二間酒店; 因而蓋了不少中轉戳, 包括9月30日神户, 10月2日橫濱, 及10月2日東京. 另有大型橢圓 "forwarded by grand hotel yokohama" 印記; 雖有一些輕微的污垢和皺紋, 但並没有影响這件充满趣味的煙台寄外國信封.
