Distilled 5th November 1964. Distilled and Bottled by Morrison's Bowmore Distillery Ltd., Islay. Matured in the famous No.1 Vault at Bowmore
Bottle number 204 of 300. In wooden presentation case, lightly worn interior cushion. Good label. Level: into neck.
"... Nose: again the typical tropical fruits: first lots of fresh orange, then X-mas cake, roasted pecan nuts. Goes on with old turpentine, juniper wood, sandalwood and old rose. Whiffs of incense, then peat, then pure smoke, together with some waxy notes. This beauty then stays on dried orange, with some very nice winey notes from the sherry. Mouth: a great attack on grapefruit, banana flambéed, caramel sauce and sweet white wine (vin de paille). Plum jam." (5 Stars-whiskyfun)
