1693 (6 April) entire letter from George Moore in London to "Mr. Dominick Bodkin, Mcht In Antegua" in dispute over Bodkin's ownership over a plantation, asking for remittance of moneys he feels are owed to him. Fine, clearly dated and a very early incoming letter. Photo.

Notes:
Antigua was first settled by Colonialists in 1632, at the time of Toeg's sale (1990), the earliest known letter from Antigua 1693, 5th of October.
Dominick Bodkin is recorded in Vere Oliver, Vol. II, Pg. 368 to have married Mary Osborn in 1693, and as having owned and managed Bodkin's Sugar Mill in the Parish of St. Paul from 1690 to 1750.
